Getting started
What is XPOS?
XPOS is an offline-first point-of-sale app for small retail, minimarts, pharmacies, cafés, boutiques and home businesses. It runs on Android tablet, Windows PC, and the web. It works fully offline and syncs to the cloud automatically. Includes an AI Invoice Analyzer that updates stock from a photograph of a supplier invoice. Built by PowerX Global in Sri Lanka.
How do I start?
Download XPOS from Google Play, sign in with Google, name your shop, and add your first product. You'll be ringing up sales within five minutes.
Which devices does XPOS run on?
Android tablet, Android phone, Windows PC, and any modern web browser. No iOS support at this time.

How much does XPOS cost?
7 days free trial. Then $5/month (~Rs. 1,500) for the cloud plan, or a one-time $100 (~Rs. 30,000) for the offline-only plan. No hidden fees, no per-terminal charges. Full breakdown on the pricing page.
Do I need a credit card for the free trial?
No. Sign in with Google and start the 7-day free trial immediately. No card required.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
Your data stays. You can continue running XPOS in read-only mode, or downgrade to the one-time offline plan and keep selling forever.
Offline + sync
Does XPOS work offline?
Yes, completely. Sales, receipts, printing all work without internet. When internet returns, everything syncs to the cloud automatically. See the offline POS page for the full technical picture.
What happens to my sales during a power cut?
If your tablet has battery, XPOS keeps selling. Sales are queued locally. When power and internet return, everything syncs. Nothing is lost.
How often does XPOS sync to the cloud?
Every 30 seconds when online, or immediately when internet returns after being offline. You can also trigger a manual sync from Settings.
AI Invoice Analyzer
What is the AI Invoice Analyzer?
Photograph any supplier invoice with your tablet camera — XPOS reads every item, quantity and price, and updates your stock in seconds. Kills manual stock entry. See the feature page for how it works.
Does the AI Invoice Analyzer support Sinhala?
Yes. English, Sinhala, and Tamil invoices are supported, including mixed-language invoices.
How accurate is it?
For clearly printed invoices, accuracy is high. You always get a review screen before stock is updated so you can correct any misread line in one tap. Handwritten invoices work but with lower accuracy.
Hardware + printing
Can I use my existing Bluetooth thermal printer?
Yes. XPOS supports 58mm Bluetooth ESC/POS thermal printers — the standard used across Sri Lanka. Pair once in Settings, print instantly.
Do I need a barcode scanner?
No. XPOS uses the tablet or phone camera as the scanner. If you want a dedicated hardware scanner, most USB and Bluetooth scanners work as keyboard-emulating devices.
Employees + multi-terminal
Can I have multiple employees with separate logins?
Yes. Each employee has their own PIN sign-in. Their sales are tracked separately in the reports. Owner can also disable an employee's login instantly.
Can I run multiple terminals in one shop?
Yes, on the cloud plan. Multiple tablets can run under the same shop and stay synced through the cloud.
Data + security
How is my data kept safe?
Your local device stores data in an encrypted SQLite database (Drift). Cloud sync uses TLS-encrypted connections. Row-level security in the database ensures your data is only visible to your shop's own account.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Export products, sales and reports to CSV from any dashboard screen.
