Does XPOS really work without any internet?
Yes. XPOS is offline-first, not cloud-first. Every sale, refund, and stock update works completely offline. When your internet returns, XPOS syncs to the cloud automatically in the background.
What happens to my sales during a power cut?
If your tablet or phone has battery, XPOS keeps selling. Sales are queued locally. When power and internet return, everything syncs. Nothing is lost.
How is offline data kept safe?
XPOS uses an encrypted local SQLite database (Drift). Sales are stamped with a unique offline ID and cannot be duplicated on sync. Backups run automatically when online.
Can I run multiple offline terminals in one shop?
Yes. Each terminal runs offline independently. When they reconnect to the internet, they sync through the same cloud account and stay consistent.
Does the printer still work offline?
